(North Augusta, SC) – Two state manhunt is underway for Saturday morning North Augusta, SC robbery suspect.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Department blood hounds have been called to search for an armed robbery suspect in North Augusta. SC.
The robbery was reported about 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017.
The suspect left on foot dropping some of the stolen cash on the ground – that’s why the Aiken County dogs were called.
The case is being investigated by the North Augusta Department of Public Safety. An employee of North Augusta gas station/convenience store was making a bank deposit.

The employee robbed of the overnight cash was about to make a deposit at Security Federal Bank at 315 E. Martintown Road in North Augusta.

A description of the suspect was not immediately available. Fortunately there were no injures to the employee of Greg’s Gas Plus located not far away at 6043 Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta.

In recent weeks, North Augusta has seen several business and bank robberies.

For the second night in a row, North Augusta Police are investigating the pre-dawn armed robbery of an all-night business.
The suspect fled on foot across the parking lot after a stickup at the McDonald’s at 1831 Georgia Ave. in North Augusta.

The second armed robbery was reported at about 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at the popular fast food restaurant.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 foot, 2 inches tall, wearing a camouflage jacket, and a half-face neoprene mask.

The suspect this morning was also wearing leather hand gloves and was armed with a handgun.

The masked bandit was last seen running toward the SCE&G offices.

Meanwhile, a North Augusta gas station/convenience store was robbed yesterday morning before sunrise.

North Augusta Robbery 1At about 4:30 a.m. on Fri, Dec. 15, 2017, two suspects with handguns held up the Shell Gas station/Circle K at 10308 Atomic Rd, in North Augusta.

Witnesses say they fled on foot.

The clerk did not know the direction of travel because they made her lay on the floor

“She is panicking,” one officer reported about the very scared clerk.

Witnesses said they fled on foot, not vehicle – and ran through the parking lot of the BBQ Barn.

North Augusta Police used bloodhound search dogs in the area of Atomic Road and Old Edgefield Road, and a nearby wooded area.

Early Sunday Double Murder in Aiken, SC – Police searching for suspects – shots heard before bodies found

(Aiken, SC) – Authorities are on the scene of what is believed to be a double murder in the city of Aiken, SC.

About 12:15 a.m., a woman called 911 – and reported she was out walking and spotted a car with two men inside that appeared to be shot in the head.

The scene is said to be near the intersection of Bradbey Lane and Ravenel Street. The caller said she saw blood on the windows of the vehicle.

S.E. Social Justice Breaking News is withholding names of those involved until it is OK with law enforcement. The car may be registered to a know offender.

The Aiken County Coroner’s Office has been called to the scene. Search dogs have been called.

Homicide investigators have been called to the scene. In addition to others, Aiken Department of Public Safety officers are being assisted by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department.

Not long before and after the bodies were discovered, at least two people called to report shots in the area.
